Snowshoeing....

We took the kids snowshoeing a few weeks ago and had a great time together. We followed rabbit tracks through the trees, followed some trails and made some of our own...

The Science Fair

Ben participated in his...and my...first science fair. He was really excited about it and decided he wanted to do a project based on a chemical change. He soaked eggs (one hard-boiled and one raw) in vinegar for about a week to dissovle the shell. I was excited that we could actually make a science experiment work! It was fun to work on it together and even though he was very dissapointed about not placing...we learned a whole lot about Calcium Carbonate! He's already planning a project for next year's fair!

Draper Temple

We went to the Draper Temple Open House the first week of February. It was such a great experience to be able to take our children and walk through the temple. Their favorite part was the beautiful Celestial Room with it's HUGE chandelier. They also loved the murals that were on the walls in the ordinance rooms. I hope we'll be able to take them to other temple open houses...

Sara's Birthday

For the rest of Sara's life...when her birthday falls on a Sunday...it's going to be a Super Bowl/Birthday Party...poor little girl! This year was her 2nd Super Bowl/Birthday Party, I don't think she cares too much right now because it's all about being able to play with her cousins. Her Dad gets more excited than he would ever admit to throw these parties! From the food, to the custom made signs, to the "Super Bowl Trivia Contest" he sets up...I know he doesn't think there could be a better way to celebrate! It is fun to have everyone over to eat and visit and eat and watch the game and eat some more!

Sara loves having her birthday close enough to share a party with her cousin Taylor!

The only thing Sara wanted for her birthday was to go to the Kamas Pool...which we did...and to make a Barbie cake with Nanny...which they did! I know the day will come when she won't want a Barbie cake...it makes me sad to think how soon that day will be here!

We are so grateful for the little things that our Grandmas & Grandpas, Aunts & Uncles, and cousins do to let them know how loved they are. We count all of them as blessings!

Our Little Jedi

Caleb right now is all about Star Wars. From everything he can use to turn into a "Light Saber"...pencils, tire pressure gauges, the meat thermometer, you name it...to where he likes to sleep at night to what he wants to play all day....it's all about Star Wars!
